Prepare the necessary accessories
How to remove gel polish manicure at home? Well, there is no big philosophy here. If you want to safely remove your stylization just follow below steps. You will need only a few products to safely remove your old manicure.
1. Matt the top
First you need to file the first layer of your varnish. It has to be done gently, only the top coat has to be removed. Filing the top layer of varnish will allow acetone to act faster. You can use for example Semilac harbor bridge file, Semilac banana 100/180 file or standard straight nail file 100/180 – the gradation should be 100/180.
2. Apply acetone on a remover wraps

You should soak them with acetone and then put them on the nail. Wrap tight the aluminium foil around the finger and make sure that soaked cotton pad sticks to the nail plate.
