A hard base dedicated mostly to strong nails with hard nail plates. High viscosity: 4.5/5. It may not work well on soft or short nails, as hard base structures can crack or lift on these types of nails.
This base is easy to work with due to its thixotropic properties, which means it becomes more fluid while working with a brush, giving you greater control.
Its hard formula and structure help strengthen nails and allow nail extensions on forms up to 1 cm. You can create overlay nails and build an perfect apex.
The clear formula helps the product cure fully, even when applied slightly thicker.
It has very good self-leveling properties, and its thixotropic nature gives excellent control during technical work.

Skin Tone Collection
This basees is designed to work with all types of nail plates. Its viscosity is 3/5. This base is between a soft and medium-hard structure.
This base is not designed for overlay nails. It is perfect for natural-looking gel polish nails that are not too thick.
The shades in this collection allow you to create beautiful, clean, and natural-looking nails. There is no need to apply extra color, just finish the styling with a top coat.

Smart Builder 809
This base has a medium-hard structure after curing and medium flexibility, making it perfect for most standard nail types, from short to long.
Its thicker formula, thicker than a standard gel polish base, allows for overlay nails / BJAB style applications. For some nail plates, it may be slightly too flexible.
This base category is our top seller, which simply means it works well for most nail technicians and most nail types.

Fiber Base
A very thick base but with medium hard structure. Thickness of this base requires a bit more practice to master nails. However, professionals who use it highly value it for its durability.
This base contains fibers in the formula that genuinely strengthen weak natural nails.
It is great for brittle, damaged nails and ideal for clients whose nails break easily. It also fills and smooths grooves and irregularities in the nail plate.
This base is less flexible than other Semilac bases.
It also allows overlay nails.
BB Base Super Rose
This is a rubber base, so it has a slightly stretchy texture. It is designed for a normal gel polish look rather than a thicker overlay nails.
Due to its soft and flexible nature, it is best suited for short nails and flexible nail plate types.
IMPORTANT! The above is only our recommendation, but results also depend on your technique and the other products used. Despite the different base properties, you can experiment with all 5 products to discover your perfect nail bestie, or the ideal base for special tasks.
TIP 1
If you need to create overlay nails on soft, flexible nails but want to use a harder, thicker base (which is not usually recommended for flexible nails), first apply a thin layer of Semilac Standard Gel Polish Clear Base. This will act as a bonding layer between the soft nail and the harder base coats. Then apply the thicker hard base on top.
TIP 2
For clients with a high tendency for lifting, you may need to switch from gel polishes to acrylgel or UV gels.
TIP 3
Work with acid-free primer, dehydrator, or acid primer if needed, and combine them as appropriate during application to achieve longer-lasting results.
