Information Regarding TPO in UV Products

Due to recent changes in European Union regulations concerning the ingredient TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide), products containing TPO could only be placed on the market until September 1st, 2025.

TPO is a photoinitiator used in UV/LED-curable products (such as gel polishes) and is responsible for initiating the polymerization process, ensuring proper curing under a UV or LED lamp.

Please find below the manufacturer’s declaration regarding TPO. All Semilac products currently in our offer are TPO-free. We were fully compliant with this regulation before September 1st, 2025.

All Semilac varnishes have the INCI list provided under the top (diamond) label placed on the bottle cap or on the back label of the bottle (see below), You can also find it online in product cart in 'composition' tab.
